We do not accept American Express.

Booking In Person

Orchard West Ticket Desk opening hours from Sat 9 December. 
Mon - Sat  - from 12pm until 30 minutes after curtain up. 
Sun - from 1.5hrs before show start time until 30 minutes after curtain up. 

Book the best seats in the house

At most performances, a selection of premium seats, the best seats in the auditorium, are available for an upgrade.

Safety & Security

Your safety is our number one priority and there may be some additional security measures in place when you visit us.  We will aim to keep any inconvenience and disruption to a minimum but would ask for your patience and understanding. 

Should you notice anything suspicious when visiting, please don’t hesitate to report your concerns to a member of staff, security or the police.

Babes in arms

Children under 18 months: £1.00 on selected performances.

For applicable performances please ask the Ticket Office at time of booking. The Orchard Theatre retains the right to exclude babes in arms from any performance.

Booking fees

  • A £3.65 transaction fee may apply to your order.
  • Some events may carry a different booking fee; charged per ticket. Any advertised prices will include any per-ticket fee that may apply
  • There is no booking fee for members 


Where offered, concession ticket prices apply to those either

  • Over 60 years old
  • Under 16 years old
  • Unwaged
  • Full-time students
Only one discount can apply per ticket and appropriate identification may be required upon request. Not all concessions are available online.

Groups' Club

Collecting Tickets

To ensure secure collection of tickets at the Ticket Office, you will be asked to produce the card with which the tickets were paid for. You may also be asked to confirm personal details of the person who booked the tickets. It is not necessary to present a booking confirmation when collecting, although this can help to make collection more efficient during busy periods. 

Ticket protection

On selected events we offer ticket protection which allows you to obtain a refund on your tickets should you be unable to attend for a number of reasons  - like illness, travel delay, adverse weather conditions and more.

This is provided by a third-party called Secure My Booking.

Your data is protected

Your contact details will be held so we can contact you in the eventuality a performance is cancelled and with your permission, we also contact you about our exciting forthcoming programme. If you would prefer not to receive such information please update your communication preferences from My Account or by calling 0343 310 0033.

Things you need to know

All attempts are made to ensure that show information and prices are correct but may be subject to subsequent alteration. Discounts and concessions may be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of the management. We reserve the right to introduce offers which cannot be applied to tickets already purchased.


Please leave all pushchairs under the stairs in the Disabled Entrance lobby. The venue is not responsible for any items lost or damaged. Due to fire regulations, we cannot allow any pushchairs into the auditorium.

Booster Seats

A limited number of booster seats are available for all performances at a non-refundable cost of 50p per seat. Please collect your booster seat from any of our till points at the start of the performance and return the seat to the usher nearest to your seats after the performance has ended.


The venue will endeavour to admit latecomers at the first suitable opportunity, which may be the interval. For some events late admission cannot be guaranteed.

Glass is not permitted in the auditorium however plastic cups are available at all bars. During certain performances, at the request of the visiting companies, alcohol may not be permitted inside the auditorium.

During some performances, there may be loud bangs, gunshot effects, strobe lighting or flashing light effects. Please speak to the Duty Manager before the performance should you require any additional information.

 Conditions of Admittance For Children

Babes in arms - Children under 18 months may be admitted free of charge to family shows when sat on parents’ or guardians’ lap. Please mention when booking.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Children under 4 years will only be admitted to family shows  


Animals are not permitted in the theatre unless they are a registered dog for the blind or hard of hearing.

Fire Alarm

On the instance that there should be a fire alarm during your visit to the venue, please follow directions by our friendly team of staff.
