Ukulele Club

Have you ever wanted to learn a new skill? Now’s your chance! Come along to one of our most popular clubs! With a dedicated ukulele teacher. Find out more

Orchard Theatre Choir

A friendly daytime choir singing songs from a variety of musicals. Learn the songs from our season of shows! Led by a professional Musical Director. Every Tuesday: 10:30am- 12:30pm. £10 per session

Gardening Club

Have you got green fingers? Enquire about joining up and digging in! Gardening Club is a friendly group that volunteers to keep the grounds around The Orchard Theatre beautiful and weed-free. We meet every Tuesday to weed, water, plant and prune then relax with a cup of tea to enjoy the fruits of our labour.

Chair Fit

Seated Exercise Class Every Monday, starting Mon 29 January, 10.15am – 12.15pm £5 per session for the first 12 weeks, first session FREE. Pay as you go. Includes exercise class, followed by tea, coffee and a chat.

West End Workshops

Join us during half terms for West End masterclasses with leading industry professionals. Grab your backstage pass to learn the dances, songs and script from your favourite West End shows. Take part in an in-depth Q&A and get that all important selfie with the workshop leader. MORE INFO

The Unfashionable Fashion Show

CALLING ALL MODELS & STYLISTS – get involved and sign up to take part in our fashion show. We are also looking for clothes makers and stallholders for our pre-loved fashion market event. Find out more AND SIGN UP!

West End Masterclass

Delivered by The Orchard Theatre, Dartford Council & Pivotal Productions C.I.C. This event is aimed at those 18+ who have or are about to graduate from an HE performing arts institution to work with others in a creative way and connect and build an inclusive supportive network regardless of where you have trained. Take part in a series of workshops, hone your craft and deliver a final showcase performance. MORE INFO

Small Business Fair

Support local and shop for crafts, gifts, sweets and treats at the next Small Business Fair. Look out for the next date coming soon! The event creates a space for Dartford owned businesses and local makers, bakers and artists to showcase their products and services. The Small Business Fair takes place at the new Community Arts Centre, located at what was previously the Acacia Sports Hall, Acacia Hall, High St, Dartford, DA1 1DJ. Dartford Pride 2024

Orchard West in Partnership with Dartford Borough Council, presents Dartford Pride 2024! DARTFORD PRIDE is back! BIGGER and PROUDER than ever.

Everyone is welcome to this fantastic event, representing and supporting the local LGBTQIA+ community. Taking place at Acacia Sports Hall and Dartford’s Out Door Theatre in Central Park, this year will see two stages packed with entertainment. MORE INFO

Summer Youth Project

Join us for our Summer Youth Project! Calling all young performers aged 9 -19 and young technicians aged 16 -19. Audition for your chance to take part in a fantastic fortnight in August. Spend a fortnight working with a director, choreographer and musical director to learn the show and perform on stage for 4 shows!
